       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Clemens) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 155 - 162
    4  and insert:
    5  scales. Anyone who refuses to submit to such weighing obstructs
    6  an officer pursuant to s. 843.02 and commits a noncriminal
    7  violation is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree,
    8  punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. Anyone who
    9  knowingly and willfully resists, obstructs, or opposes a weight
   10  and safety officer while refusing to submit to such weighing by
   11  resisting the officer with violence to the officer’s person
   12  pursuant to s. 843.01 commits a misdemeanor of the second degree
   13
