       The Committee on Transportation (Garcia) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 214 - 219
    4  and insert:
    5         (a) Subject to available funding and with the approval of
    6  the affected counties and transportation authorities, the
    7  commission may provide transportation services of regional
    8  significance which are identified in the regional transportation
    9  plan.
