       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Gibson) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (884422) 
    2  
    3         Delete line 328
    4  and insert:
    5  accepting partial rent for the rental period if the nature of
    6  the noncompliance is nonpayment of rent, the landlord gives the
    7  tenant a written receipt of payment, and the complaint in the
    8  eviction action acknowledges the partial payment by the tenant.
