       Senator Clemens moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 38 and 39
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Section 761.062, Florida Statutes, is created to
    6  read:
    7         761.062 Prohibited acts.—A church or religious
    8  organization, an organization supervised or controlled by or in
    9  connection with a church or religious organization, an
   10  individual employed by a church or religious organization while
   11  acting in the scope of that employment, or a clergy member or
   12  minister may not practice or perform conversion therapy on an
   13  individual younger than 18 years of age, which includes any
   14  treatment performed with the goal of changing an individual’s
   15  sexual orientation, such as efforts to change behavior, gender
   16  identity, or gender expression, or efforts to reduce or
   17  eliminate sexual or romantic attraction or feelings toward a
   18  person of the same gender.

   21  And the title is amended as follows:
   22         Between lines 11 and 12
   23  insert:
   24         creating s. 761.062, F.S.; prohibiting churches or
   25         religious organizations, and employees, clergy
   26         members, or ministers thereof, from practicing or
   27         performing sexual orientation conversion therapy on an
   28         individual younger than a specified age;
