       Senator Bean moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 33 - 38
    4  and insert:
    5  subsection (1) may not serve as the basis for:
    6         (a) A civil cause of action against any entity or
    7  individual protected under subsection (1); or
    8         (b) A civil cause of action, criminal cause of action, or
    9  any other action by this state or a political subdivision to
   10  penalize or withhold benefits or privileges, including tax
   11  exemptions or governmental contracts, grants, or licenses, from
   12  any entity or individual protected under subsection (1).
