AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO LOBBYISTS AND STATE GOVERNMENT. |
Section 1. Amend Title 29, Delaware Code by adding a new Section 5839 to read as follows:
"�5839. Prohibitions.
No person subject to the registration requirements of this subchapter shall be employed by or perform consulting functions for any State agency, Commission, Council, Committee, or public body of this State. Nor shall any person serve on any State Commission, Council, Board, or perform any official function for the State."

This Bill prohibits registered lobbyists from performing official duties for State government, thereby preventing conflicts of interest. |
