HOUSE BILL NO. 37

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 21 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE REGISTRATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §129(a) of Title 21 of the Delaware Code by adding at the end of the subsection the following:

"Motorcycle temporary plates may be stamped or marked in letters less than 3/4 of an inch high.".

Section 2.Amend §2130 (b) of Title 21 of the Delaware Code by adding at the end of the subsection the following:

"Motorcycle temporary plates may be stamped or marked in letters less than 3/4 of an inch high.".

SYNOPSIS

This bill removes the 3/4 of an inch letter height requirement for the issuance date, expiration date, make, and serial number on the smaller motorcycle temporary tag.
