HOUSE BILL NO. 324

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO CONSTABLE SALES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §9557(g), Title 10 of the Delaware Code by striking "except those provided for in §9801(3) of this title," as the same appears therein and substituting "except those provided for in Justice of the Peace Court rules,".

SYNOPSIS

This Act eliminates a reference to a code section which no longer regulates court costs in the Justice of the Peace Court costs.Legislation passed earlier in the 145^th General Assembly (Senate Bill No. 37) authorized the Justice of the Peace Court to establish court costs by court rule, subject to the approval of the Chief Justice.
