HOUSE BILL NO. 258

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ELECTRICIAN LICENSES.


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:


Section 1 Amend §1408(a), Title 24 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as show by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows:

(12)Notwithstanding paragraph (a)(10) a person may be granted a probationary license by the Board until such time as the requirements of (a)(10) are met if the granting of a probationary license to such person will not endanger the public health, safety or welfare.


SYNOPSIS

This bill allows for the granting of a probationary electrician license to a person after a criminal conviction.
