Summary
This bill would mandate an increase in payments made to Direct Support Professionals – persons who are caregivers for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home or community setting. These rate increases are necessary in order to keep people with intellectual and developmental disabilities safe and integrated to the maximum extent possible in their local communities.
