Summary

As introduced Bill 25-52 would establish that the Chairperson of the ABCA Board may also have knowledge in the cannabis industry. It establishes a Cannabis Regulation Division and the Cannabis Advisory Committee. It would prohibit the sale of cannabis or cannabis products without a license and prohibits exchanges of cannabis for purchasing an item. It sets aside a certain percentage of licenses for Social Equity Applicants and It establishes general qualifications for applicants and proposed establishments among other things.
