Summary

As introduced, this bill exempts veterans classified as having a total permanent disability or that are paid at a 100% disability rating level, from a portion of the property taxes assessed on his or her primary residence. The Mayor shall deduct $500,000 from the assessed value of real property, owned by a qualifying veteran. FUNDING NOTE - This law is Subject to Appropriations.
