Summary

There are limitations to how much a business contributor, its affiliates, or a person can contribute to an individual's campaign for nomination as a candidate or election to public office. These limitations do not apply to political action committees during any year in which the committee was not supporting candidates in either a primary or general election. As introduced, this legislation establishes that political action committees are no longer exempt from the above limitations.
