AN ACT CONCERNING THE SUPERVISION OF CERTAIN SEXUAL OFFENDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that any person convicted of the sexual assault of a minor shall, upon release from incarceration, be subject to parole supervision and monitoring by a global positioning device for the remainder of such person's life.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect children from sexual predators by requiring persons convicted of sexually assaulting a minor to be subject to lifetime GPS monitoring and parole reporting.
