AN ACT CONCERNING AN ANALYSIS OF THE STATE'S POWER GRID.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a state-supported analysis of the state's power grid. Such analysis shall be conducted in a way that would be useful to potential developers of small-scale, renewable energy opportunities, including those in the areas of wind power development, tidal energy, and small and micro-scale hydroelectric generation.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide private and public developers an early stage tool for assessing transmission and demand potential in renewable energy.
