AN ACT ALLOWING ADULT ADOPTED PERSONS TO ACCESS THEIR ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow an adult adopted person, twenty-one years of age or older, to access their original birth certificates.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow adopted adults over the age of twenty-one to access their original birth records.
