AN ACT CONCERNING A STATE INCOME TAX DEDUCTION FOR LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE PREMIUMS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to provide an income tax deduction for the purchase of long-term care insurance premiums.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide an incentive for residents to purchase long-term care insurance.
