AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IN-LAW APARTMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipal zoning commissions to amend zoning regulations to facilitate the construction of in-law apartments and structural modifications that allow families to care for elderly family members at home.
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate the construction of in-law apartments and structural modifications that allow senior citizens to remain in their homes as they age.
