AN ACT CONCERNING REMEDIAL INSTRUCTION FOR CERTAIN STUDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require a local or regional board of education to provide remedial instruction to any student in grade three or eight who fails to meet testing standards.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide remedial instruction in subject matter areas in which students are struggling.
