AN ACT CONCERNING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS RECEIVING SPECIAL EDUCATION IN A CLASSROOM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That part V of chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to require that the total number of students receiving special education and related services shall not be greater than the total number of students not receiving special education and related services in any classroom.

Statement of Purpose:

To ease the impact of special education.
