AN ACT CONSOLIDATING THE STATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to consolidate the Department of Economic and Community Development, the Connecticut Development Authority, Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority.
Statement of Purpose:
To decrease the size of government and improve efficiencies and achieve cost savings by consolidating all economic development agencies.
