AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX BREAK FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL PROPERTY OWNERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a tax break for a commercial property owner based on the vacancy of a commercial space belonging to such property owner, and that such tax break shall be granted to such property owner for a period of two years if such vacant commercial space is leased to a start-up corporation.
Statement of Purpose:
To create an incentive for commercial property owners to lease space to start-up corporations.
