AN ACT CONCERNING DEFINITIONS OF "DEADLY WEAPON" AND "DANGEROUS INSTRUMENT".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to reconcile various definitions of "deadly weapon" and "dangerous instrument" and to clarify that an electronic defense weapon is not a firearm.

Statement of Purpose:

To clarify the statutes concerning definitions and classifications of weapons.
