AN ACT REPEALING THE ESTATE TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 217 of the general statutes be repealed.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the estate tax in order to attract and retain more families and small businesses capable of providing a revenue stream to the state over a longer duration.
