AN ACT CREATING A PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND THE SERVE HERE CONNECTICUT INITIATIVE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a public-private partnership between Connecticut's public institutions of higher education and the Serve Here Connecticut initiative designed to reduce academic debt and provide meaningful employment in the nonprofit, state and municipal arena for Connecticut's young adults between the ages of eighteen and twenty-nine.

Statement of Purpose:
