AN ACT CONCERNING INCENTIVES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IN-LAW APARTMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to facilitate and provide incentives for the construction of in-law apartments and structural modifications to allow seniors to age in their homes.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage seniors to age in place as opposed to seeking institutionalized long-term care.
