AN ACT CONCERNING ENROLLMENT AT AN AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CENTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That part IV of chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to replace the provision requiring local and regional boards of education to designate the agricultural science and technology education centers that a student may attend with a provision allowing students to attend any agricultural science and technology education center in the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the restrictions on enrollment at vocational-agricultural schools so as to allow students the same choice of an agricultural science and technology school as they have for a magnet school.
