AN ACT CREATING INCENTIVES FOR DEFENSE CONTRACTORS TO UTILIZE IN-STATE SUBCONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish a Buy Connecticut program that provides sales tax exemptions and research and development tax credits that will encourage defense contractors to utilize the services of in-state subcontractors and businesses.
Statement of Purpose:
To create incentives for defense contractors to use in-state subcontractors and businesses.
