AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR BUSINESSES THAT PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS IN MANUFACTURING TRAINING PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a tax credit for businesses that provide scholarships to students from this state who are enrolled in a manufacturing training program in this state, provided the program focuses on job training in a high-demand manufacturing field.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase job training in high-demand manufacturing fields.
