AN ACT CONCERNING THE DIRECT ISSUANCE OF OPTICAL PERMITS TO LICENSED OPTICIANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 20-153 of the general statutes be amended to allow the Department of Public Health to grant optical permits to licensed opticians.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow licensed opticians the ability to serve patients directly in their homes.
