AN ACT CONCERNING TAX ABATEMENTS FOR NEW BUSINESSES OCCUPYING VACANT PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to authorize a municipality to abate real estate taxes or personal property taxes of start-up businesses that will occupy vacant commercial buildings.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax abatements for the use of vacant properties by start-up businesses.
