AN ACT CONCERNING EXPANSION OF THE LICENSE RENEWAL FEE WAIVER FOR CERTAIN PHYSICIANS PROVIDING VOLUNTEER SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 20-10c of the general statutes be amended to expand the license renewal fee exemption for physicians to include those physicians who volunteer their services for local health departments, the Veterans Administration, the United States Coast Guard or other military medical clinics, or Doctors Without Borders.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the license renewal fee exemption for physicians who volunteer their time.
