AN ACT STREAMLINING THE SUBDIVISION AND SITE PLAN APPLICATION PROCESS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to provide that (1) no public hearing shall be required for any subdivision or site plan application, and (2) before approving or disapproving any subdivision or site plan application, the planning commission, zoning commission, planning and zoning commission or municipal planner, if authorized by the commission, shall make a finding that such application is or is not in substantial compliance with applicable subdivision and zoning regulations.

To streamline the subdivision and site plan application process.
