AN ACT CONCERNING THE ACQUISITION BY EMINENT DOMAIN OF REAL PROPERTY FOR USE IN PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the acquisition by eminent domain of real property for use in a development that is privately owned or controlled.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the acquisition of real property by eminent domain for use in a development project that will be privately owned or controlled.
