AN ACT CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES TO APPLY FOR IDENTIFICATION CARDS OR REMOVABLE WINDSHIELD PLACARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Motor Vehicles to allow a person with disabilities or such person's caregiver to make an appointment with the department using the department's Internet web site to apply for an identification card or removable windshield placard for such person.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Motor Vehicles to allow a person with disabilities to make an appointment with the department to apply for an identification card or removable windshield placard.
