AN ACT REQUIRING THE COMPLETION OF THE DISPARITY STUDY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 2020, the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering shall complete the disparity study required under section 20 of public act 11-48, as amended by section 103 of public act 11-61 and section 110 of public act 12-1 of the June special session.

Sec. 2. (Effective July 1, 2018) The sum of six hundred twenty-five thousand dollars is appropriated to the Office of Legislative Management, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, for a grant to the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering to complete the disparity study in accordance with section 1 of this act.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
