AN ACT CONCERNING A MUNICIPAL OPTION TO EXEMPT A PORTION OF PROPERTY TAXES FOR MEMBERS OF THE STATE MILITIA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-81w of the general statutes be amended to allow a municipality to abate or exempt a portion of the property taxes of a person who is a member of the militia in good standing.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a municipal option for tax relief for members of the state militia.
