AN ACT PROHIBITING CERTAIN BUSINESSES FROM BEING A STATE CONTRACTOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any business where a principal has been convicted of a crime that is related to the business from bidding on and receiving state contracts.
Statement of Purpose:
To clean up the state contracting process by preventing law-breaking businesses from receiving contracts.
