AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVAILING WAGE THRESHOLD FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to define "new construction" in order to clarify the distinction between "new construction" and "remodeling, refinishing, refurbishing, rehabilitation, alteration or repair."
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify the distinction between new construction and remodeling or repair for the purpose of the prevailing wage threshold.
