AN ACT CONCERNING TAX ABATEMENTS FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide property tax abatements for units of affordable housing regardless of whether such units are new or owner-occupied.

Statement of Purpose:

To recognize and foster affordable housing units that are older or redeveloped.
