AN ACT CONCERNING DUPLICATIVE MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to merge certain administrative functions of the board of education and the municipality itself, including, but not limited to, human resources and finance.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide cost savings to municipalities by allowing for merger of duplicative administrative functions.
