AN ACT CONCERNING POTENTIAL VOTER FRAUD.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that in any voting district where more votes are cast than the number of voters registered in that district, the results of such election returns shall be voided and that the district shall conduct a revote.

Statement of Purpose:

To address the potential for voter fraud by providing a remedy when more votes are cast in a district than there are registered voters.
