AN ACT EXPANDING THE AGES OF SEX OFFENDERS REQUIRED TO REGISTER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 969 of the general statutes be amended to require sex offenders, regardless of age, to be placed on the offender registry, and to require the state to notify any school district in any state where an offender may enroll of such sex offender's status.

Statement of Purpose:

To extend sex offender registry protections to all ages.
