AN ACT CONCERNING MURDER DURING A HOME INVASION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 53a-54b be amended to include a murder committed during the commission of a home invasion as murder with special circumstances.

Statement of Purpose:

To recognize that murders committed during home invasions warrant life without release.
