AN ACT ELIMINATING THE CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECK FOR CERTAIN APPLICANTS FOR TEACHING POSITIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-221d of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the requirement that an applicant for a position in a public school submit to a state and national criminal history records check if such applicant has previously submitted to such criminal history records check prior to employment with another local or regional board of education in the state.
