AN ACT INCREASING FUNDING FOR AGING IN PLACE INITIATIVES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated from the General Fund to the Department on Aging, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, to expand programs that provide community and home-based care for persons who are elderly or who have Alzheimer's disease.
Statement of Purpose:
To commit additional state funds to expand access to aging in place initiatives.
