AN ACT CONCERNING LIABILITY OF HOME HEALTH CARE AGENCIES FOR PERSONS THEY SEND TO CLIENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-491 of the general statutes be amended to clarify that home health care and homemaker-home health aide agencies are liable for the acts of persons they assign or refer to clients.
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify that home health care agencies are liable for the acts of their agents.
