AN ACT CONCERNING TELECOMMUNICATIONS PROVIDERS' SUBSCRIBER LISTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2010) (a) A certified telecommunications provider, as defined in section 16-1 of the general statutes, or any company, except a commercial mobile radio service provider, using telephone numbers from the North American Number Planning Administration shall arrange for the publication of such provider's or company's subscriber list information in a local telephone directory. Such provider or company shall not publish such subscriber list information for any subscriber who specifically requests in writing that such information not be published.
(b) Such provider or company shall furnish its subscriber list information (1) on a nondiscriminatory basis to any requesting directory publisher at a price not to exceed the level established by the Federal Communications Commission, (2) as base file extracts and files of listing updates, and (3) not less frequently than once a month.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||
