AN ACT CONCERNING THE METHOD OF CALCULATION USED TO DETERMINE PENSION BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit longevity payments, overtime or bonuses from being used to calculate a state employee's pension benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To achieve budgetary savings by reducing the state's pension liabilities.
