AN ACT EXPANDING SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES TO CERTAIN STUDENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That part V of chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to permit high performing students with mental health needs to receive special education and related services.

Statement of Purpose:

To expand special education services to include high ability students with mental health needs.
